Student Ministries Director

The Student Ministries Director helps provbide for the spiritual guidance and growth of Haven youth - 6th grade through high school - through fellowship, discipleship, prayer, and service. 

The major duties include:

1. Organize and lead middle school and high school gatherings, working with the Pastor of Teaching to develop curriculum.

2. Grown in relationship with Christ and demonstrate the love of Christ to the sutdents an dleaders.

3. Plan and attend all retreats, events, and summer trips.

4. Build relationships with parents, maintaining good communication and promoting parent participation. 

5. Promote student faith development including making profession of faith and pairing with mentors.
   

Qualifications include:

1. A person of high moral integrity, with a desire to serve our Lord, having a passion for youth.

2. Possess excellent relational skills and be enthusiastic, energetic, and joyful.

3. Experience in planning, organizing, and implementing youth or other group activities successfully.

4. Ability to recruit, train, and work with Student Ministries Leaders.
