Position: Director of Connection & Care • Part-Time

Description of Position:

Arise Church is a gospel-centered church in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, seeking a Director of Connection & Care to help us build a culture of discipleship, hospitality, and mission.

We are a church of approximately 120 people and are part of the Alliance of Reformed Churches. Our desire is to see people love Jesus, grow in gospel community, worship wholeheartedly, and live as missionaries in their everyday lives.

Our Lead Pastor’s primary strengths are teaching, worship, and vision-casting. We are looking for someone who can work alongside him to help care for our congregation, strengthen connections within the church, and assist in implementing ministry plans that move our mission forward.

The ideal candidate will have strong administrative and organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and a heart for hospitality. This person will help oversee guest follow-up, member care, Life Group development, volunteer teams, and ministry systems that help people move from attending church to becoming engaged disciples.

This role is expected to be 25–30 hours per week, with some flexibility depending on the candidate’s gifts and availability. Opportunities to preach occasionally may also be available.
