Rita Loyola

Coordinator of Ordination, Project and Data Manager

Rita Loyola was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina where she resided before immigrating with her family to Southern California at the age of 11. She received her calling into ministry at the Crystal Cathedral under the leadership of Dr. Juan Carlos Ortiz. She distinctly recalls her response according to Matthew 28:19-20 to “go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”

She has been involved in outreach, evangelism, church planting, and pastoring since the age of 19, helping local churches grow by utilizing her gifts for the Kingdom. Rita’s trajectory brought her to Michigan to pursue an MDiv. from WTS, where she graduated with a Master of Divinity and a Graduate Certificate in Pastoral Ministries (GCPM) through the Hispanic Program at the same institution. Rita is currently a student in the Doctor of Ministry program in the field of Pastor-Teólogo (Pastor-Theologian) at WTS to be a better servant-leader through a deepened understanding of ethnic diversity within the body of Christ, the Church. Rita’s involvement with the Alliance of Reformed Churches will provide project leadership to the Alliance’s organizational and congregational ministry. Her ability and existing relationships with various groups, ethnicities, and social climates, as well as her fluency in the Spanish language, will contribute to Alliance’s vision to move the Church forward into the twenty-first century towards the Great Commission through the Holy Spirit’s guidance.
