Tim Vink

Director of Spiritual Leadership and Outreach

Tim Vink grew up in Minnesota on the lakes and sports fields but also in the pews of a vibrant congregation of Jesus. His life verse from Luke 12:48 was etched in him by strong Christian parents, "To whom much is given, much will be expected." The emphasis was full of grace from God, and full of potential and opportunity.

Through 35 years of evangelism, disciple-making, and helping diverse churches plant more reproducing churches, Tim has experienced the power of making Jesus our model for ministry today. Working with a multiplication mindset, embracing the fullness of the gospel of Jesus and New Testament patterns of Kingdom growth, and receiving all the help offered by the same Holy Spirit---the dynamic results have been life-giving for hundreds of new churches and tens of thousands of people. The Alliance of Reformed Churches will be an exciting next chapter where Tim serves as the Director of Spiritual Leadership and Outreach.

Dan Ackerman

Director of Organizational Leadership

Dan grew up in a pastor’s family on the west coast of the U.S. As a child of the church, he grew up assured of who he was as a child of God. He also grew up unsure whether the church was really necessary. In his 20’s, God challenged his thinking and called him out on that attitude. As a high school teacher and Young Life volunteer/staff, he came face to face with the need for a personal relationship with Christ. But, he also realized the need to live out that relationship in a community of faith that God's Spirit birthed and called the church.

In the years following, his life has been a continuing journey with the church as a pastor and leader. He’s passionate about the missional calling of the church and the opportunity it has to transform lives and communities. As a leader of the ARC, Dan’s part in that journey is to create excellent and healthy leadership (personally and structurally) that will empower and equip churches to fulfill the great commission with the heart of the great commandment.

Board Member

The Lord decisively chased me down in a spirit filled church in Lubbock Texas late college years. This Church gave me a voracious love for scripture, worship and the transforming ministry of the Holy Spirit. At Gordon Conwell Seminary, the courses, my studies and professors anchored me in reformed evangelical theology, preaching exegetically, a high view of scripture and global missions. My first staff position was singles pastor on Ben Patterson’s staff. Ben Patterson being called to Hope College and Holland Michigan to start a new student chapel ministry brought me into the RCA in the context of a historical student revival where I started missions training and discipleship.  Having completed a Doctorate of missions focused on mobilizing the Church for missions and evangelism to Muslims “Romans 1:16...I am not ashamed of the Gospel.”, I developed a book, curriculum and course of study Engage for equipping and training churches, missionary candidates, campus workers and Christians engaged in Muslim ministry locally or globally.

My 25 years coordinating and teaching the foundational Perspectives on the World Christian Movement course nationally and internationally brings ARC Churches proven training and mobilization for our members. My international partnerships can partner Churches with a historic ingathering of former Muslims through our Proclamation of the Gospel and Humanitarian centers in Lebanon and centers throughout the Muslim world. I have developed, coordinated and taught seminars, conferences, courses for Churches to engage in Biblical missiology... restoring the Gospel to missions and missions to the Gospel. How rich the harvest.
