Job Description
The pastor shall serve as the chief under-shepherd and overseer of this local church, feeding, leading, and nurturing the sheep. The main responsibilities will be to communicate God’s Word, minister to spiritual needs and provide biblical leadership for the church.

Minimum Training and Experience:
A thorough and intimate knowledge and understanding of the totality of the Word and
training/experiences which would qualify a person to pastor and administer a church.

Duties – Responsibilities:
1. Proclaim the Word of God in a regular pulpit ministry.
2. Coordinate effectively with church staff. Provide direction for the church program.
3. Provide leadership and vision for the church. Direct plans for ministry and church growth;
develop and fine-tune the church structure based on a team philosophy of ministry.
4. Motivate, equip, and nurture the people of the church through example, preaching and teaching God’s Word and spiritual counseling.

Compensation:
Wages range between $50,000 and 90,000 depending on experience, training, and education; can include health insurance, and a five-bedroom parsonage with included utilities.
