First Reformed Church of Fremont is looking for a part time worship director with an evangelistic heart and music expertise to lead our blended worship congregation. We enjoy creativity in worship using skits or video clips, and monolithic flow and artful design of old/new songs with heart felt segues. Our projection and sound systems are good. We use motion backdrops for song lyrics. We have 4 different praise team; one young adult 15-22 yo, an “old” (55-68 yo) rock and roll team, and 2 more traditional teams. We regularly use drums, bass guitar, piano, and violin. We also use brass and cello occasionally. Currently practice occurs on a weekday night, and worship review and planning occurs on Tuesday morning. We need the right leader to help with our next step.

It would be bonus if that leader is preparing for pulpit ministry. Our pastor loves mentoring, and will likely retire in 3-5 years. The Alliance has great credentialing options that involve online and in person learning. We would love to have our next pastor already rooted in FRC when Joel retires. He would love to mentor someone young and excited for pastoral ministry.
